Join us for Dinner at one of Rome’s well known & loved trattorias – famous amongst locals who frequent it for weekday meetings. Their pasta carbonara is a one of Rome’s best!

A great trip because Via Appia Antica (Appian Way), one of the earliest and most important original Roman roads, famously connecting central Rome to the major southeastern port city of Brindisi, is closed to traffic on a Sunday.

Begun in 312 BCE by Appius Claudius Caecus, this road served as the primary military and trade route from ports into Rome. You will be surprised how quickly the bustle of Rome becomes a country road complete with original grooves in the cobble stones carved out by the regular traffic of Roman chariots.

Half way through we take in an exquisite plate of pasta in country Italy (no alcohol).

With E-bikes, the trip can be as easy or as arduous as you wish.
